Printed at the Hedgehog Press
on an Adana 8-5 letter press.

In the chaos following privatization of the Adanaland Post Office,
a stock of Pastimes of the People stamps was overprinted in anticipation of a world cup victory.
Only afterwards was it found that no team had in fact been entered.
Most were recalled, and this stamp is therefore extremely rare.
